| Martha Parrish
Martha Parrish was born
and raised in a Christian home in Wilmington,
DE where she came to know
Jesus as her Savior at the age of seven while
at a Youth For Christ weekend camp. Later,
in her early twenties, Martha met her future
husband, Larry, and they have been blessed
with two children, Evan and Erica, who are
now young adults. Martha was a “stay-at-home
Mom”, raising her children and caring
for elderly parents. Later, she worked part-time
at a local Baptist church pre-school for eight
years. As a founding member of CCDC has enjoyed
helping with administration in various ways.
In 1998, Martha became bookkeeper, which she
has been doing ever since. If you know Martha,
you know her love for babies! She has been
serving in CCDC’s nursery since “Day
One” and also helped form H.I.S. (Hearts
In Service) ministry.
“I have been crucified with Christ;
it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives
in me; and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians
2:20
