Connie Beecher was born and raised in a family of artists, in Broomall, PA. She pursued a full time position in an Advertising Agency, as a graphic designer/illustrator, after graduating from High School. Connie has worked full time in the art business for 28 years, supplying artwork for many national & international corporations as well as a variety of collectable companies. Connie has also designed artwork for assorted textiles and has exhibited her fine art in galleries.

Five years after accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, Connie took a step of faith, and left her full time position as Art Director in an agency, to go on her own, under the name, Butterfly Studios. Connie desired to use that name, after attending a missions trip with CCDC to Trinidad and drawing a series of butterflies there, as a visual for the scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!” Her trip to Trinidad left a large impression on her heart regarding the arts and how God can use them for His glory.

Connie has been very blessed to serve with CCDC as a graphic artist for the past 7 years, and now also facilitates the Arts Team, who plan the arts for Sunday Services.

She resides in Broomall with Mark, her musician husband of 28 years, and their son Nicholas. They enjoy all the arts, books, movies, and especially the company of other artists, who yearn to use their gifts and talents for God.
