Mission Statement
H.I.S. (Hearts In Service) is a network of men and women of Calvary Chapel of Delaware County who are ready and waiting to lend a hand to anyone at CCDC who is in need of help. The primary goal of the ministry is to serve one another and minister God's love and grace through physical tasks as needs arise.

A new season...

H.I.S. ministry is being reformulated!  Pastor Shem will direct the Manual Labor end of H.I.S. ministry, Pastor Eric will take over leadership of the food service end of H.I.S. ministry. 

The opportunity to serve one another comes in many forms:

• Grocery shopping or errands
• Transportation to church services or related activities or for other emergent needs
• A few hours of child care to a single parent, or caregiver support
• Manual skills (ie - light housecleaning, small home repairs or yard work) for single parent homes or households limited by illness, emergency or caregiving responsibilities
• Short term housing or use of an automobile

If you regularly attend Calvary Chapel of Delaware County and have a need or a desire to serve in any of the above areas, please contact Pastor Shem Uzele.

Food Services...

If you are looking for a way to serve but are caught up in a crazy schedule this may be a perfect fit for you.  Answer these questions.

1. Do you have a heart that wants to help out those in need?
2. Do you have a hectic life and don't know how you can help?
3. Are you willing to make several meals a year?
