And
whatever you do, do it heartily,
as to the Lord and not to
men, knowing that from the
Lord you will receive the
reward of the inheritance;
for you serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24
The
word “minister” as
used in the Bible means “servant.” Jesus
Christ demonstrated this
when he took a basin and
towel and washed His disciples’ feet.
He then declared that this
would become the model for
true and effective ministry
in the church. Therefore,
at CCDC we look at ministry
as a privilege and an opportunity
to be a part of Christ’s
body (1 Cor 12, Romans 12,
Eph 4).
Everyone is encouraged to
serve in the body of
Christ and with so many ministries,
there is certainly a
place
for your individual talents
and interests. To take
that first step, contact
the church
office at (610) 891-7110
or fill out an Information
Card at the church information
counter located in the
main hallway. A helpful
resource is the audio series
by
Pastor
Bob titled “Discovering
Your Spiritual Gifts” based
on Romans 12. The
tape series is available
through the Audio Resource Ministry.
