Welcome to Journeyland, our Children's ministry. Our mission to encourage children in their journey through life to KNOW Jesus (Ephesians 3:19), GROW in Jesus (2 Peter 3:18), SHOW Jesus (Matthew 5:16) and GO in Jesus (Matthew 28:19). Every effort is made to provide a safe environment, and to establish community in the lives of the children and their families. The Journeyland ministry will model faith in Christ and honor Him in all that we do. God's Word will be taught in a most creative, relevant and enjoyable way.

Calvary Chapel of Delaware County has a fully staffed Children's Church for babies through 5th grade on Sunday mornings at both services as well as Wednesday Nights. Early Preschool (Two year olds)

For the two year old child to experience a unique combination of structured play, teaching, and worship. Our goal is to continue encouraging the child's spiritual growth through modeling God's love by connecting with the kids on their level: teaching obedience and caring for each other through activities that are exciting and appealing.

Noah's Landing ( Three-Five Year olds)

Preschool children are learning foundational Bible lessons: how to pray, obey, and care for others. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where the Word is presented in a creative and memorable way through worship, storytelling, and hands-on learning.

The Shepherds Fold (must be in Kindergarten/First Grade)

Our Kindergarten-First grade class is where the children learn that Jesus is the loving Shepherd. The goal of this class is to encourage interactive learning, applicable faith, respect for others, honesty, self-control, genuine prayer, worship and scripture memory. Children will participate in small group interaction to create more of an individual teaching and encourage caring friendships.

Mountain Movers

The Second and Third grade climb to new heights, as they live out the lessons learned from home and previous classes. The goal is for this child to understand God's love and forgiveness, and to know they can rely on God to help them live out their faith with boldness. The lessons are active and relevant so that the child can apply them to everyday life experiences . Respect for others, submission to authority, honesty and discipline. They are strongly encouraged to build genuine friendships to help them stay strong in the faith they have come to know.

River Runners

The fourth and fifth and grade learn to make the transition form obeying orders to becoming willing obedient servants. The goals are: Relevant lessons for living in a spiritual needy world, making the right decisions, and attitudes of respect for property and others. Meaningful friendships are strongly encouraged for accountability and a boldness to live out daily temptations. Journeyland encourages participation for this age group to begin to serve and be lights to the world by providing opportunities to serve each other and the community.
