MISSIONS
- PURPOSE/PHILOSPHY:
Our purpose is to:
1)
EQUIP and SEND short
and long term missionaries
to mission fields
in the U.S. and
abroad (partnering
with existing missions
organizations);
2)
SUPPORT existing
missionaries (Calvary
and others) and
mission organizations;
and
3)
SUPPLEMENT Calvary
members who participate
in non-Calvary mission
trips.
As a result, we
will share the love
of Christ with the
lost and dying world,
and the missionaries'
lives will be transformed
in the process.
COMMMUNITY
OUTREACH - PURPOSE/PHILOSOPHY:
Our purpose is to
encourage and provide
opportunities for
our members to share
the love of Christ
and walk side by
side with the marginalized
residents in our
neighboring communities.
This will be accomplished
through semi-annual,
church-wide events
as well as smaller,
ongoing outreach
ministries.
