As
stated before we have no way of getting
out of the grip of sin. However it is important
that we remember that God did not design
us to be in this position. God has far greater
plans for us. “For I know the thoughts
that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts
of peace and not of evil, to give you a future
and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and
go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
And you will seek me and find Me, when you
search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah
29: 11 – 13) God is not powerless when
it comes to dealing with sin. God sent Jesus
Christ to deal with the problem of sin. “But
God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ
died for us.” (Romans 5:8) “For
Christ also suffered once for sins, the just
for the unjust, that He might bring us to
God, being put to death in the flesh but
made alive by the Spirit.” (1Peter
3:18) “For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
