Meet the Team
It takes more than one person to put this all together. Meet the diverse group of Kingdom-minded people that we call our staff.
Leadership is Influence
Our team consists of men and women who have a passion to see God move in our church, our community, and the world by empowering our congregation to follow Jesus. We long to follow the legacy of Jesus, the greatest and most competent leader who ever lived, who washed the feet of those men who followed Him. We desire to put a serving towel over our arms and to help lead people to maturity in Christ.
Staff
Hardworking, fun-loving, & heavily caffeinated.

A native of Philadelphia, Bob grew up submerged in sports and went All-American at Widener University where he majored in economics. He and his wife Monica started the church from scratch back in 1993 are as still as passionate about their mission to see people reach their full potential in following Jesus Christ as they were back then. They can’t wait to see what God does through this generation. If you see Pastor Bob outside of church, you’ll likely see him reading, golfing, or (his newfound love) cycling.

Dolores is the definition of servant hearted—she is deeply passionate about following Jesus and serving her church, family, friends, and local community. She first came to ccdelco after attending a women’s conference with her small group, and it was love at first sight! She loves reading, loves animals (as you can see), and spends a lot of time dog-sitting for her three grand-dogs.

Monica's attitude toward God, life, education, and the young people of our generation can be summed up by a word: passion. Monica has grown our children and youth ministries from the start and loves to draw young people into the presence of God and help them discover their passion and purpose. She’s currently influencing the next generation as the Head of School at Innovate Academy, our PreK through 9th grade classical Christian school. Most of all, however, she is thrilled to be Pastor Bob's wife.

John loves his job. Alongside directing the music ministry here, he has the privilege of assisting various other ministries and departments to identify and reach their goals through strategic planning, creating reliable systems, and adapting to challenges. John and his wife Bonnie visited ccdelco fresh off their honeymoon during our first service at 500 Brandywine Drive—and haven’t been anywhere else since. John absolutely loves to play guitar in his free time, tackle home improvement projects, and, most of all, being a dad.

Anna loves to be a part of new things and build community, so the Ardmore campus and small groups make her heart absolutely come alive. Anna and her husband Adler were invited to attend ccdelco by an old college friend and absolutely fell in love with the verse-by-verse teaching. They are so excited that God has called them both to serve Him here. Clearly a Texan, Anna taught high school for seven years, grew up water skiing, reads voraciously, and adores wide open spaces.

Adler is crazy passionate about discipleship, and he gets to live it out daily as he teaches at our classical, Christian academy. He has the great joy of seeing people go from brokenness to fullness in Christ. Adler and his wife Anna ended up at ccdelco when he moved up north as an actor at Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA. A friend invited him to church, challenged him to get more plugged in, and boom, here we are. He’s a self-proclaimed dork in a jock facade—he loves sci-fi fantasy, camping, board games, ice hockey, baseball, and dad jokes.

Shem loves fixing broken things and going beneath the surface with people. Descending from the Congo, born in Sudan, raised in Kenya, and married in America, Shem first sat in a meeting with Pastor Bob and a group of people planning to launch ccdelco. A couple of weeks after that, Shem led worship and has been ever since. A few of Shem's favorite things include cycling, motorcycling, and unabashedly asking for food.

Emily gets to create moments that help lead people into the throne room of God. She loves watching people enter in with Jesus and desires to create a culture of authentic worshippers. Emily grew up in ccdelco and started out on staff fresh outta high school. You can catch her songwriting (check out some of her original music), hanging out with humans all the time, and (attempting to) garden. She actually doesn’t like anything coffee-related, but still wants you to invite her out to coffee.

One of Melissa’s greatest gifts is celebrating other people—and she transfers that gift to create a celebratory environment for our kiddos to create wonder and encounter Jesus. Melissa came to ccdelco’s very first youth group where she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and has been a part of the ccdelco family for over 26 years. Outside of her time in JKids, she and her husband Tim enjoy long walks along the river, exploring battlefields, and visiting museums. They’re excited to re-create biblical feasts and celebrations to share God’s truths with the next generation.

Taylor gets to capture, showcase, and creatively communicate all the wildly incredible things God is doing in our midst. She ended up at ccdelco while attending West Chester University when she started to take her faith seriously, and ended up working on staff after God led her to “work somewhere where her faith would be built up”—and boy it sure has been. She loves making witty jokes, singing loudly in the car, having deep conversations over coffee, and getting people excited about the privilege of worship and prayer. And yes, she's just as bubbly in real life as she is on video. It's wild.

Lisa loves working behind the scenes to help create experiences that allow others the opportunity to grow closer to God and to others. She’s had quite an exciting career thus far, but serving God dwarfs it all. Lisa has attended ccdelco for about 10 years—but getting plugged into a serving team (shoutout to the bookstore!) and joining a small group changed the game for her. When she’s not busy being an absolute boss woman, she’s probably catching up with her two amazing daughters, studying history and archeology of the Bible, conquering some type of challenge, and finally, laughing. Always laughing.

Bob is passionate about connecting folks who have physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with care pastors. He loves to provide fellowship, Bible study, and service opportunities for our senior population. Bob and his wife Judy found ccdelco through the yellow pages (if you can remember what they are) and have led a small group here for the past twenty years. When not serving in ministry, Bob likes to lead sing-alongs, travel on mission trips, hike, walk, and host family and friends at their cottage in Lake Como, PA.

John leads a ministry called Greenhouse Project, where they help people grow in difficult places in Chester PA. He loves seeing broken people and things restored. When he first came to ccdelco, he was living at a rescue mission for the homeless in 2007 and was totally confused why everyone was so happy. But he recalls the music was powerful, the Word of God grabbed his heart, and he never left. John and his wife Emily happily reside in Chester, PA with their daughter Keira and baby boy Max. Outside of being an incredible mentor to his community, John’s a classically trained chef who plays the drums, restores & collects vintage drums, and loves to organize.

Al has the distinct privilege of combining all the spokes of this massive wheel called “ccdelco” and keeps it moving. (And boy—there’s a lot.) After retiring from the Marine Corps, Al arrived at ccdelco from his beautiful wife Sunny and, “the rest is history.” When he’s not holding down the fort, Al enjoys long walks with his wife, riding his motorcycle, and keeping in touch with his adult children and grandchildren. And watch out—he’s a rabid Eagles fan!

Martha has loved seeing over the past 23 years how as “God guides, He provides.” She’s an OG and has been here since DAY ONE as a part of the bible study that helped form the church. She’s a lover of gardening, reading, her grandkids, and all things Israel… the land, the people, and God’s promises to them. Oh, and a serious Beatles fan.

Mike is the son of Pastor Bob and Monica and leads a creative ad agency in NYC. He’s a gifted speaker and communicator, and comes back to teach at our main campus and Ardmore campus. An avid reader, cyclist, and adventurer—he'll likely quote G.K. Chesterton to you.

Ben is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. He’s extremely gifted in hospitality and is passionate about creating an atmosphere conducive to connecting with one another and connecting with Christ. Ben’s been here since our 708 days, and actually helped start the Table Cafe back in 2016. Aside from everything coffee related, Ben loves golf, tennis, and cooking a big ol’ fat wagyu ribeye.

Brandon loves to take other people’s creative vision and use technology to make it into a reality. He and his family have been here since he was a wee lad, and his passion for all things audio engineering actually started here at the church sound booth. He went out into the private sector and is back to share his talent and passion with ccdelco! When he’s not wrapped in cables, you can find him living life on two wheels in the great outdoors: mountain biking & motorcycling.

Rebekah loves to help people find out where they’re meant to be. She’s been at ccdelco for over ten years, and started out as a middle schooler and is now a middle school leader! She believes it’s important to start having serious conversations at a young age to prepare the next generation in the body of Christ. Rebekah’s tried every crafting hobby you can imagine, and always enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries—anything that keeps her mind moving.

Dan assists with the inception and execution of all things creative around here. His main passion is art creation and the heart and intention behind it. He’s been at ccdelco for over ten years through his family and his other hobbies (outside of photography) are playing football, basketball, watching movies, and quoting The Office.

Growing up, Ian always felt like something was missing; but then, he met Jesus and everything was changed. Ever since then, his biggest passion is helping kids discover that amazing relationship with Jesus. Ian first attended ccdelco while visiting his in-laws and thought it was a super cool church. Flash forward 5+ years, Ian and his wife felt like the Lord was calling them to Delaware County and knew exactly where they would put roots down. Ian’s other attributes are a die-hard Eagles sports fan, traveling with his wife and trying new food and restaurants, and (last but not least) picking things up and putting them down—what some people call working out.

If you see Matt around church, you’ll likely see him with a headset on and a walkie-talkie. He’s always the first one to lend a hand, solve a problem, or put out a fire… literally. Matt’s main passion is serving people, it brings him great joy to live out the gospel through service to others. He was born and raised at ccdelco, and after an eight year hiatus, he’s back home. Other loves of Matt include playing drums (he’s been playing for over a decade), playing guitar, leading worship, painting, and (strangely) grapes.

Whether it's the plants in her garden or the kiddos she gets to spend time with on Sunday mornings, Nichole loves watching things grow. You can always find her tending to the wellbeing of everyone around her. She has been attending ccdelco for three years now and is so excited to be a part of the staff family. She loves flowers, baking, painting and talking about Jesus.

Ken is all about seeing people flourish in their relationship with Jesus, especially by using the powerful language of music to connect with God and express their faith. After serving as a teacher in Philadelphia for many years, Ken began working at Innovate Academy, our PreK-8th grade Classical Christian school, as the music mentor. After working with our youth kids for a season, we can fast forward to today where Ken is embracing the unexpected journey as a youth pastor! Ken and his wife have been married for 18 years and have two children, Lily and Roman. He loves the Sixers, Eagles, coffee, Vans, and listening to music!
