Sizzlin' Summer

Experience church in a whole new way. Sizzlin’ Summer is when we bring some of the best teachers, communicators, and artists right to our lawn.

What is Sizzlin’ Summer?

Come early to grab a bite to eat at our food court and then we'll worship under the stars, hear an inspiring message of the gospel, invite people to receive Jesus as their savior and be baptized, and pray for true and lasting life change to take place.

2024 Lineup

We book these speakers with you in mind, and we really want to have something for everyone — from the intellectual to the new believer, to the non-believer, the music lover, and everyone in between.

Sermons from the past

Baptism

This is the one time of year we offer a space to make a public declaration to commit or recommit your life to following Jesus, so we encourage you to take advantage. It's never too late or too early—we love to celebrate this as a church community!

Volunteer

Sizzlin’ Summer is one of the best things we do around here. It's an incredible environment for a new believer or nonbeliever to step onto our property and experience the life-transforming power of Jesus. And each serving area and volunteer plays a huge part in that! And, that being said, we’ll need your help to fill the following areas:

Food Service | Greeter & Connections | Tear Down after service | Prayer | Merch & Book Sales | Ushers & Safety Team

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there childcare?

Sizzlin’ Summer is where your family can worship together in a relaxed, evangelistic atmosphere. We invite families to sit further back in the “Family Zone” so kids have the freedom to move around with minimal distraction during service. There is childcare, however, if we move inside due to inclement weather for kids in PreK* through 3rd grade. *Your preschooler must be potty trained.

What time does the event start?

Our service starts at 7:30P but we suggest getting here early to scope out a spot to sit and grab some food from our food court offering pizza, burgers, salads, smoothies, Chick-Fil-A, and more.

What happens if it rains?

If we happen to get one of those intense summer storms, we will make the decision to either move inside or postpone the entire night. We will alert you on social media, on a website header, and through the Church Center app. If you don’t hear anything, proceed as normal!

Is there a cost?

Sizzlin’ Summer is an entirely free event to attend. We do collect an offering during service to help cover the costs associated with the event if you decide to invest into the mission of Sizzlin’. Also, you can purchase dinner at the Food Court and sweatshirts, hats, t-shirts, and blankets at the Merch Booth.
