What’s a Typical Gathering Like?

No Pressure

Whether you’re already a follower of Jesus or you are unsure about church or religion, we welcome you. We don’t do membership as a church, so you can kick the tires a bit or dive right into serving. We invite you to join us on the journey.

Worship Expression

There are different ways we all express worship to God. Generally, you’ll hear people sing with the worship team. But you’ll also see people raise their hands in response to the music. Stay calm!

Teaching Style

While we may do one or two series a year, our primary teaching style is through books of the Bible. Our Pastors will exposit from a text drawing out its main topic or idea, and showing its application
to real life.

Friendly Community

You’ll meet friendly people who greet you at the door, throughout the building, and even during a gathering. Stop over at the Connections Table in our atrium so we can get to know you!

Relaxed Environment

Come as you are, dressed in what you feel comfortable in. Our church isn’t for people who have it all together—or there would be no one here.

What About Your Kids?

Kids need a safe & sanitary space to explore their faith. That’s why we provide Journey Kids & Youth Church!

While you’re being trained & equipped in our gathering, your kids will be meeting new friends, growing in their faith, and having fun — you can count on that.

FAQ

Where are you located?
A plus icon to open up an FAQ tab.

Our main campus is located near the border of Delaware & Chester counties in Chadds Ford, PA, off the intersection of Route 202 and Route 1. Our second campus, launched in 2020, reaches the other side of Delaware County in the heart of Ardmore, PA right on Lancaster Ave.

Can I bring my children into the service?
A plus icon to open up an FAQ tab.

We believe that age-appropriate learning is the best model for our church. Because we value children and their spiritual heritage, we have committed a significant amount of resources to our Journeykids Children’s Ministry. Your children will benefit more from this program geared to meet their needs than attending the main service. Therefore please note, children under eight years of age are discouraged from adult services unless a first or a second time visitor.

What do you have for children?

It is our desire and mission to partner with you as a parent in one of the most important jobs in the world: raising the next generation! In doing so, we offer Youth Church for students in grades 5-12 on Sunday mornings at 11AM. Check out our youth ministry here.

What kind of church is ccdelco?
A plus icon to open up an FAQ tab.

While ccdelco is a nondenominational church, we are a part of the larger Calvary Chapel association of like-minded churches as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We believe in the full expression of gifts within the church and enjoy all the “streams” of Christianity.

Are you meeting in-person?
A plus icon to open up an FAQ tab.

Unless otherwise indicated, all in-person Sunday services are meeting. Our desire is for our church family to continue gathering safely. To stay up-to-date with any service updates or changes, be sure to subscribe to Pastor Bob's eNews, check our social media pages, and check the web banner.

Do you do baptisms?
A plus icon to open up an FAQ tab.

We love being able to celebrate believer's baptism! Baptism is a willful act of obedience to the Lord, where a follower of Jesus publicly professes their faith in Him as their Savior and Lord. We see it as a symbol of our identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Baptisms are offered at our outdoor Sizzlin Summer Midweek Services on Wednesday nights at 7P during the months of June, July, and August. We invite anyone to participate in baptism each night, but you can schedule your baptism and share your testimony by clicking the link below.
